Neckring Equipment
The neckring arm carries the neck ring, and the parison in it, from blank side to blow side — and must land in the same place every cycle.
On the blank side the arm holds the neck ring halves closed under the blank mould, so the finish is formed against them. It then inverts, carries the parison across, and opens to release it into the blow mould. Neck finish, seam and how squarely the parison hangs all follow from that path. An arm that drifts shows up as ware, not as a maintenance note.
So we treat the arm as a positioning part rather than a bracket. Castings in cast iron, SG iron or aluminium are machined to your drawing, with the mounting seat, holder faces and bores cut to hold each cavity on centre — single, double, triple or quad gob. We supply the neckring mechanism as well, so the arm and the mechanism that carries it come from one shop.
What you get
The arm returns to the same place cycle after cycle, so neck finish and seam stay consistent across the campaign.
We supply both the neckring arm and the neckring mechanism, so mating faces and bores are made to agree.
Made to interchange with the IS-machine equipment already on your line, in SG, DG, TG and QG layouts.
Our engineers read and edit digital drawings in-house, then machine the arm to your own part references.
