Blank-Side Variables
On the blank side, the plunger forms the interior of the parison; the cartridge and mechanism behind it decide whether it lands in the same place each cycle.
The plunger works inside the blank mould, pressing or guiding the gob so the parison takes shape from the inside out. It also carries heat out of the thickest glass. If it runs off centre, or hesitates in its stroke, the wall goes uneven, and that fault carries straight through to the blow side. Reheat and final blow cannot put the glass back where it belongs.
KVG makes both parts of that job: the plunger cartridge assembly and the mechanism that drives it. Both are dimensioned to be interchangeable with the IS-machine plunger equipment already in your section, across single, double, triple and quad gob (SG/DG/TG/QG) layouts. We read and edit digital drawings in-house and machine to your drawings, so a replacement matches the set it joins rather than approximating it.
What you get
Cartridge assembly and driving mechanism both come from us, so alignment and stroke are handled together rather than assumed at assembly.
Machined to run concentric in the blank mould so wall thickness stays even and thin spots do not become rejects.
Interchangeable with the IS-machine plunger equipment you already run, so a change-out needs no rework at the section.
We read and edit digital drawings in-house, so a repeat order comes back to the same drawing as the part it replaces.
