Quality & Inspection
Quality on this site is a process, not a badge. Here is how KVG builds accuracy into every part — from incoming material to final dimensional inspection — and how you can ask us to prove it.
Our philosophy
Everything in KVG's quality approach is anchored to one statement that has guided the company for years:
“Provide cost effective & highest quality Products in the shortest possible Lead time.”
— KVG Enterprises Vision
That single line sets three obligations that pull against each other in most workshops: keep the price competitive, hold the quality at the top of the range, and still ship quickly. KVG's answer is not to trade one off against the others but to design them out of conflict — by reading drawings accurately the first time, machining to repeatable tolerances on CNC equipment, and inspecting at the points where errors actually enter, so rework (the thing that quietly destroys both quality and lead time) is caught early rather than at the customer's line.
The practical test of quality for a glass plant is simple: does the part fit, does it run a full campaign, and does the next order match the last one. We hold ourselves to those outcomes, keep each part traceable to its drawing and part reference, and back it up with inspection records and references that we are glad to share on request.
Inspection process
Rather than a single check at the end, quality is verified at the three stages where deviation actually enters a part — the material, the machining, and the finished dimensions.
Castings and raw material are checked on arrival against the specified grade — CI, SG iron, aluminium or Minox — before any machine time is committed. Catching a material issue here prevents it from being machined into an expensive finished reject.
Critical dimensions are checked during machining, while the part is still on or near the machine and can be corrected. Working to the controlling drawing at each operation is what keeps a set of variables consistent with one another.
Before dispatch, the finished part is inspected against its drawing and part reference so the shipped item matches what was ordered — and so a future repeat order can be held to the same numbers.
Test & inspection
Inspection at KVG covers the areas below. We have deliberately not listed specific instrument models here until they are confirmed with the plant, and we do not claim any certification we cannot evidence — the exact equipment list and inspection records are available to serious enquirers on request.
Critical dimensions verified against the controlling drawing at in-process and final stages.
Incoming castings and raw material checked against the specified grade before machining.
Contact and cavity surfaces assessed for finish and, where relevant, hardness for wear life.
Interface fit confirmed and each part logged to its drawing and part reference for repeat orders.
Credentials
KVG does not display certification logos or client names it cannot substantiate. This audience checks, and a badge that does not hold up costs more trust than it earns.
What we will do instead is show the evidence directly to a genuine enquirer. Certifications and client references are available on request, and where a job calls for it we can share inspection records for the parts we supply. If your procurement process needs specific documentation, tell us what you need and we will confirm what we can provide.
